1. Go Google Deadly Boss Mods……right now….no seriously…..NOW….it will make your raiding experience SO much more fun that it’s not even funny. It is a mod that tracks various boss cooldowns and tells you when their most important moves are happening. While it is capable to get by without it, using only the boss emotes many people just won’t/can’t. So do yourself a favor. Download it.

2. When in doubt DON’T STAND IN SHIT. Wait until somebody else stands in it. If you are having lag issues then don’t wait for shit to go wrong. MOVE. When lagging you are not dpsing or healing or doing anything useful so you might as well not die to the void zone. Oh and get a better ISP or expect us to yell at you EVERYTIME you die due to “lag”.

3. Count to 3 before doing anything, healing, dpsing, sneezing. Tanks are good…but not THAT good. You can and will pull agro if you don’t let us set shit up. I will guarantee you that tanks are not jacking off while adds are moving. If the add is walking it is for a reason. Most of the time it is due to Blizzard having shitty pathing….sometimes (read at the beginning of the pull) it’s moving cus the tank knows more about the trash/boss positioning then you. Just fucking wait. The same crap you have to deal with as dps we have to deal with as tanks. Positioning…rotation. You have agro dumps. Use them if you get shit on you. OR pop a health pot and give us a chance to get them off you.

4. Bring consumables. More often then not as a dps you will not be healed. If you die to unavoidable raid boss dmg then you might have a reason to talk respectfully to the healers (remember that healers are usually why we wait to start raids so don’t piss them off…actually you should prob just give them gold now) otherwise it is your job to heal yourself. I hear that first aid is useful for that. If you take dmg from a void zone…………

5. Pallies buff ENTIRE CLASSES……let me say that again ENTIRE CLASSES. We have a 30min buff and a 10min buff. The 30min one GOES TO THE ENTIRE CLASS. We WILL NOT buff you every 10min. It’s fucking annoying that we have to do it every 30min. If you die due to shit just make due until the boss. We have to do a full rebuff anyway. Also don’t ask us to buff your pet. It’s asinine, and annoying. If your entire dps depends upon your pet being buffed then GTFO of the raid. Here are some things to look for now that we know that buffs go to entire classes.
-Do you have a tank in your class? Then you are getting Sanctuary. Sry 3% dmg off is better then you haveing 50 m/s
-Do you have a healer in your class? You will prob get BoW over BoM. Sry healers will ALWAYS be more important to keep happy then dps.
-How many pallies are there? If there are 2 then you will have…….you guessed it TWO buffs. (See above).
-If you play an unusual spec (like enh shaman or feral druid) you will prob go incorrectly buffed. If there are more then 4 pallies in the raid then ask for your buff of choice, otherwise see above. Tank/Heals take precedence.

5. Have fun. Stop stressing over the little stuff and move on. I will prob put this after every post I make about raiding but it’s true. The moment WoW turns into a job is the moment you should quit.
