More people need to make an effort to show up in the future. This is just as much a guild activity as raiding. Open communication is key!!!!!!
The main topics of the meeting were our preparation for Cata.
Officers
-We defined what an officer is and what they do.
-There will be no more than 3 officers at any time for any reason. More is not needed for a 10m guild. Officers must be able to do their jobs.
-Current officers for now are: Inashne (GM), Cixc (Co-GM) and Bevius (Recruitment Officer).
GM- Runs the guild in general. Schedules guild raids/events, has final say in disputes within the guild. Keep the guild on track to success.
-Co-GM - Assist with guild operations, must be capable of leading raids and scheduling them as well as helping to resolve guild disputes.
-Recruitment officer - Handles the majority of recruiting new members, deals with players within the guild to help resolve minor disagreements before they get out of hand. May delegate recruitment responsibilities to others in times of mass recruitment.
Bank
-The bank will be more open for Cata for all main members (Main Raider +).
-Authenticators will be required to have bank access.
-Be respectful of the bank, don't take out more than you have put in. Keep a cash flow going with the bank.
-New rank was added called "Banker" who had access to the guild bank for organization purposes.
-Cimmerin was promoted to this rank.
-We also purchased the final tab for the bank.
Cata
-Main goal is hardcore 10m guild.
-Speed is key, quick leveling, quickly getting heroics going ect...
-Level the character you WANT to play.
-Think about an Alt down the road, more raid flexibility in the long run.
-No dragging your feet anymore. No playing broken specs or heavily gear dependent specs.
ex: Marksmanship pulls more DPS when you're geared, survival pulls more When you are not geared. Maybe I like playing Marksman but Im losing 2-3k+ DPS by doing so, I am gimping the raid. No more of this.
Loot
-Loot assigned based on who has earned it.
-/roll if two or more are deserving of it.
ex: Bevius and Antilles have shown up to all raids, pull the same DPS and do the same effort outside the raid to improve their characters. A dagger drops they both need. They do a /roll for an equal chance to win.
ex2: Bevius is doing not only more DPS than Antilles but he is also taking time to better his playing ouside the raid and has shown up to all raids. Antilles has missed the last 4 out of 8 raids, pulls less DPS than everyone else and is constantly dying from simple mechanics. A legendary drops off the last boss. It goes to Bevius, as an example.
-BiS pieces will not go to new raiders unless they're the only ones to need it.
ex: A new priest replaces an absent healer. A BiS healing trinket drops, it will not go to the new priest until the other 2 healers have had their chance to roll for it since they have been in the raid more and have earned it.
Legendaries - Since legendary weapons will drop in 10m, they will always b e loot council'd off by people not rolling for it.
ex: Legendary dagger drops (Or item to start the quest) off a boss. Bevius and Antilles are on even grounds to roll maybe, Bevius has pulled more DPS but Ant has been more active over the last few months. Myself, Cixc and two other random guild members (In the raid) will debate who wins the item.
Raid setup
-The first 2 tanks, 3 healers and 5 DPS to make it to 85 and be appropriately geared will fill the first 10m group. Everyone else will start out in backup status.
-Players will be cycled for poor performance or absences.
-Everyone has to earn their raid spot for progression content, nothing will be given.
-No one will be kicked for poor performance but you will only be taken to non-progressive content.
ex: Durban is not pulling his weight in 10m icc. He will not come to do Icc 10 heroics but is welcome to come run T9 and lower content.
-Have a working offspec and offspec gear, EVERYONE!!!!
-Everyone must familiarize themselves with fights ahead of time and come prepared.
New recruitment standards
-Dependability is #1. Be able to make all or most of our raids. No flaking out, always give a heads up, no habitual last second canceling.
-Gear - Make sure people are geared enough to compete in raids with others.
-Experience - Its easy to get people familiar with content. Tankspot vids, running the fight and verbal explanations.
-Keep those 3 points in mind for future recruits.
One final note: I am searching for a new website for us to use in Cata. This one sucks!!!!!!!!!!!
